The Kilifarevo Monastery is one of the most interesting local cultural monuments, but it has not been sufficiently exposed and promoted. According to a popular legend, scrolls from the library of the literary school, which has been exported since the fall of Tsarevets, are stored here somewhere, wrapped in wax. Petko Slaveikov himself mentions the library and predicts that it is kept secretly in the area of the monastery or near Belyakovets.

Kaya Bunar Nature Landmark The village of Hotnitsa, Veliko Turnovo-waterfall municipality and the Bohot River Gorge in the area of Kaya Bunar with a fall height of 17 m, situated 200 m above sea level with an area of 9 ha around it.

The Peter and Paul Monastery is one of the 14 monasteries built around Turnovo during the Second Bulgarian State. According to the legend, the monastery was built at the time by the brothers Assen and Peter, at their present location on a hill where there once was a fortress. The Holy Trinity Patriarchal Monastery is located in a beautiful area, at the foot of the Arbanassi Plateau, about 6 km away. from Veliko Tarnovo and 1.5 km from the village of Samovodene.

The former power of Nikopolis Ad Istrum today is somehow forgotten and even unknown. Called the ``Bulgarian Rome``, Nikopolis Ad Istrum seems to lie in the shadow of Tsarevets Hill, and only the ancient stones remind of its existence.

Natural landmark “Kapinovski waterfall Velchevo village, near the Kapinovski monastery, Veliko Tarnovo municipality. It is a waterfall on the Veselina river with a fall height of 4.5 m, situated 200 m above sea level with an area of 0.2 ha around it.

The archaeological site is in Varbovski Livadi, 5 km northwest of the modern town of Pavlikeni. The museum is part of the restoration and socialization project of the Ancient Ceramic Center, funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation and the American Scientific Institute worth $ 51,000, of which $ 6,000 is co-funded by the Pavlikeni Municipality.
